Russ McIntosh moved to Fairfax County in 1983 as a military brat, and has been a resident of Fairfax City since 2012. In his long list of accomplishments, his award winning artwork has appeared in galleries across the United States from Oregon and California, to Colorado and Louisiana, and along the East Coast from Florida to Maine, and of course in Virginia and the District area. He ran the Arlington Arts Gallery for several years, showcasing local talents as well as bringing in nationally recognized artists. Russ was the lead singer in several local bands, performing at the legendary TT Reynolds, and opening for Grammy nominated acts. As a graphic designer for 25+ years, his work can be seen daily from Old Towne Alexandria to Interstate 66, and along Main Street. He started his company Vision Idea Design in Fairfax City, to help small businesses and entrepreneurs in the community achieve their goals and pursue their vision to success. Russ is an Ambassador for the Central Fairfax Chamber of Commerce, and is actively involved in the small business community within the City. Art and music are passions he pursues on a daily basis, and is a part of his being.
