I have recruited my dear friend and fellow artist, Debra Wright to serve as guest curator for this event we are hosting.
Sweet Lil’ Things will occur as a Special Edition of SatARTday at Cupcakes and Beyond, 9540 Lee Highway, Fairfax, Virginia 22031, on Saturday, July 30, 2022, from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Sweet Lil’ Things is a small works exhibition. Artists are asked to submit one work sized 6” x 6” or smaller conveying any interpretation of the theme. This is an all-ages event, so the content is family friendly. All work will be affordably priced for sale at $25.
The goal of this casual, afternoon event is to foster community while supporting artists as well as the small business hosting us. Cupcakes and Beyond is an artist-centric, family owned bakeshop that offers a variety of delicious confections. The owners have strong ties to our community and make amazing baked goods. Trust me, try anything they offer and you’ll see why I’m their biggest fan!
